莊佳佳領軍 要踢開跆拳道金庫

跆拳道隊一直是台灣要在奧運殿堂搶牌的重要運動種類，自2000年列入正式運動種類後，台灣已拿下2金1銀5銅，不但每屆都有獎牌進帳，2004年的朱木炎與陳詩欣更踢下台灣目前僅有的2面奧運金牌。

備受期待的跆拳道隊，本屆由莊佳佳、黃懷萱與劉威廷組成，除了要延續奪牌紀錄，更要讓國旗歌再度縈繞在奧運頒獎台。

莊佳佳、黃懷萱與劉威廷都是首度挑戰奧運，但國際賽經驗都很豐富，尤其14日就要滿27歲的莊佳佳，更是除了奧運外的大小賽事，無役不與，上屆倫敦奧運她挑戰曾櫟騁的奧運門票失利，本屆終於站上夢想舞台，憑藉的除了苦練，更是堅持。

「訓練就是每天都要挑戰自己的極限，就算再苦也絕不放棄！」莊佳佳強調，自己一路走來的跆拳道生涯，正是因為不斷的堅持，才有如今這一點收穫，她說：「很多人認為放棄很容易，其實一點也不，對我來說，因為已經堅持那麼久了，怎麼可能說放棄就放棄。」

品勢出身的莊佳佳，儘管實力與身材出眾，卻總是在大型賽會鎩羽，如今她希望在奧運搶金，首要工作就是要引出心中的那頭野獸，她笑說：「教練都說我個性太好，他們要我上場就算用演的，也要很兇悍。」她更打趣表示，大概只有教練李佳融能激怒她，要在奧運前想想戰略。

黃懷萱的奧運門票來得突然，但她卻展現自信與決心，「我真的沒想過2016就能去，但練了跆拳道，當然想去最高殿堂。」她備戰有男友張政壕作伴，但體重控制卻是她的一大難題，她雖有習慣方式，但為了拚戰奧運，將努力配合教練規劃的方式。

身高196公分的劉威廷，則預告將在里約全力以赴，絕不保留，他強調自信來自扎實的訓練，他笑說：「既然有機會，目標當然是金牌，若能聽到國旗歌，我應該會感動到哭。」
